Ann and Linda are in recovery. God teaches me that my cross is not so bad. I introduce a new segment, the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. This week I talk about the gift of Wisdom.
I said some prayers for you and your family. I also included some for the person who is losing his hearing.
In regards to getting tired of the battle. That happens to me as well. I notice the following from Catechism day 101.
Read the Catechism: Day 101
I. HE WILL COME AGAIN IN GLORY
The Church's ultimate trial
675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.
I hope we both stay strong in faith and, as you stated in a podcast, "Begin with the end in mind"
Thank you for the prayers. They are very much appreciated.
And thank you for the encouraging words. That quote from the Catechism is certainly appropriate. I'll have to read it a few times more to get it to sink in to my thick head.
