Hello Mike:Nice Podcast. I was able to connect using Firefox from home. The corporate firewall appears to prevent connection. I am planning on signing up at the "flocknote" web site you mentioned. Hopefully I will be able to advance my study of the Catechism. Note that I created a quick account so I could comment on your podcasts. Thanks
Hey there ActionItemGuy Welcome to the Podcast. You are my first commenter. It's cool to have you on board. I'm glad you like the 'cast. The next one is shaping up nicely and I'll try to get it posted Wednesday before bed but I'm not promising. A main focus is on a CNN article that asks if you believe in a Red State Jesus or a Blue State Jesus. It's an interesting question that I keep praying on.The Flocknote Catechism in you inbox is a very nice read each day and I've been enjoying it. I'm also glad that we figured out it was the corporate firewall that was preventing you from getting access to it.Thanks,Mike
Nice going Mike, Glad you took the leap into the pod-o-sphere. Great insight. I have been trying to use the YouVersion bible app on my phone and Nexus7 for reading the bible. I am always missing days, but you can catch up, or go your own pace.
Thanks George! I am truly Blessed if you are getting insight out of what I have to say - you are my teacher. Remember Confirmation class 16 years ago? That was a huge step for me back in to the Catholic faith. I don't really know if the teens got it but I sure did!I need to check out that YouVersion bible app. It sounds like a great solution even though I am falling behind on the Catechism at the moment. Work has been busy.I wanted to get Episode 3 out last night - didn't happen. I don't think I'll get it tonight. Probably this weekend. You and others make Podcasting seem so easy but it takes me a week to prepare for 5 - 10 minutes of talking.God Bless,Mike
first of all, i love the cheesy electronic music, very mike. you had dark magic black coffee, and in my time last week... i drank some chicory with soymilk while listening to this. there might be people better at certain things... but like you said, you're the best at being michael. :) your unique set of experiences, gifts, and qualities make you the great person you are. thanks for sharing a bit of your life and faith in these podcasts. as a proclaimed agnostic, i am always interested in hearing people of faith encourage me in my walk as i seek to find my own voice about this. thanks for being a mentor not just in the technical world, but in the personal and spiritual one as well. hope you enjoyed the plasterblaster event in sd.
